Ragnarok Online

Every man has its own way of filling his own free time, some are having a nice and comfortable sleep and some are doing their hobbies like sporty activities, mind games, and most of all playing Online Games. I really don’t know why most of the kids now a day’s choose to stay at home, sitting and then play online, maybe this is the most popular thing to do in this century

Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG created by GRAVITY Co., Ltd. based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-jin. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2002 for Microsoft Windows and has since been released in many other locales around the world. Its style and settings have been influenced by a wide variety of international cultures. The game has spawned an animated series, Ragnarok the Animation, and a sequel game, Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of The Second, is in development. Player characters exist in a world with a player environment that gradually changes with the passage of time. Major changes in the features and history of the world take place as episodes in the RO timeline. Player characters interact in a 3D environment but are represented by 2D character sprites for front, back, side and diagonal facings.

Ragnarok Online is divided into a series of maps, each of which has its own terrain and native monsters, though many monsters are present in multiple regions. Transportation between maps requires loading the new map and monsters are unable to travel from one map to another.

Ragnarok Online, has its three major nations which and where all players start in, the Rune Midgard. The Schwaltzvalt Republic, an industrialized neighbor to the North, was added in Episode 10 and Arunafeltz, a religious nation modeled after a combination of Israel and Turkey is the subject of Episode 11, A series of other, minor nations also exists, generally modeled after an ancient society in the real world, examples such as Amatsu, which is modeled after ancient Japan, and Louyang, which is modeled after ancient China. Areas from Norse mythology are also included, such as Niflheim, the land of the dead, and Valhalla, where players can become Transcendent Classes. New map content is constantly being added to game in the form of Episode updates.

Ragnarok Online have its different job characters:

Novice Class
-All characters in Ragnarok Online start off as a Novice. After obtaining level 9 of the Basic Skills skill, players may change their profession to a first job class. The one exception to this rule is the Supernovice class, which additionally requires that the character be at least base level 45.

First Job Class

-First job class characters have specialized skills that are specific to the job they choose. Currently, there are eight first job classes available in iRO. The Gunslinger and Ninja job classes have been implemented into iRO Sakray as of January 2, 2007 at 9:00 PM PST during the weekly scheduled maintenance. The maximum job level for first job class characters is 50, except for Gunslinger and Ninja for which it is 70 and Supernovice for which it is 99.

Second Job Class

-After obtaining job level 40 in a first job class, a player may job change to a second job class that his or her job class is eligible for. The three exceptions to this are the Supernovice, Gunslinger and Ninja job classes, which are not eligible for any second job classes. The maximum job level for second job classes, like most first job classes, is 50.

Transcendent Job Class

-After reaching base level 99, job level 50 in a second job class, a player may transcend, where he or she will be reborn as a level 1 Novice. The exceptions are Taekwon Master and Soul Linker, which are not eligible for transcendence. By transcending, he or she will have to level up from the beginning once again, but when he or she changes to his or her second job class, he or she will become the transcendent version of it, opening up the opportunity for stronger skills and larger stat bonuses. The maximum job level for transcendent job classes, unlike non-transcendent job classes, is 70

Third Job Class

-The sprite for 3rd jobs of 2-2 classes
I really like playing this game a lot because this is the reason why I learned to use a computer at the age of 8, my first online game on the computer that I played and also I like the graphics of the game because I like anime character which Ragnarok supports it, unlike any other MMORPG, Ragnarok is more Anime look character like in the animated TV series eg. Naruto, Alice Academy, etc. only the difference is the character is made more “chibbi” (that’s why I can’t compare it to the other online games,) unlike the other which is more animated character who is near to the human images for example is the Final Fantasy.
Playing Online Games is the most commonly do by children of this generation, it gives happiness to them on their free time, some making this as a sort of a based of  strength and weakness of one in a game and some says this is a waste of time. But for me, like the other kids today, I really like playing online games but not too much, (of course as a student we need more time to study than playing around) .

Well that's it.................................. Have a nice day :)
